Anonymous asked: What powder would you recommend for someone with oily skin? drugstore preferred please!
Well if you’re looking for a powder just to set your liquid or cream foundation - here would be my recommendations!
The Maybelline Dream Matte Powder! I’ve personally never used this product, but Missglamorazzi on Youtube has extreemly oily skin, and has sworn by this powder for years! It’s inexpensive, finely milled and wont make you look cakey - all while still keeping you matte! To see her foundation routine with this powder, click here.

Next would be the Covergirl Clean Oil Control Pressed Powder! The makeup artist at my work absolutely loves the Covergirl Clean line. She thinks that this powder is perfect for controlling your oil, without breaking your bank! Makeupforpoorckicks here on Tumblr also loves this powder!

Please let me know if you try either one of these products, and if you like them!
How old were you when you started wearing makeup?
I first started playing around with makeup when I was about 10. I know that sounds really young, but I was always in dance and theatre, so my mom would have to do up my makeup for shows, and I absolutely loved it! It wasn’t until grade 9 though, and when I found the beauty community on Youtube, that I actually started to wear makeup to school!

As much as everyone raves about tendertones, I don’t have the slightest interest in them.
I love the way they feel on my lips, but I can get better lip conditioning products and better colour pay off products! Personally I like mac’s tinted lip conditioners better then their tendertones, but to each their own!
makeuppjunkiee asked: How does the L’oreal Studio Secrets Primer work? Is it good for combination skin? Thank You! :)
I personally have dry/normal skin, and while I like the L’Oreal Studio Secrets Primer, I like it as a base for my makeup, not as a primer.
It does make my foundation go on smoother, but I have to use a primer under it, because it doesn’t make my foundation last longer at all. But if you have a special occasion, I would suggest a moisturizer, then this, then foundation, then a setting spray. It makes your foundation apply beautifully, and you look like you have an airbrushed foundation.
I swear by this little trick!

Which do you prefer: lip gloss or lipstick? Lipstick! Lipstick! Lipstick! I absolutely adore the consistency, texture and finish of lipstick SO much more then sticky lipgloss.
Which do you prefer: lip gloss or lipstick? What is your favorite of each?
Lipstick - Mac Lipstick in Hue
Lipgloss - (Im going to cheat here and say) My Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake
What is your favorite type of bronzer: matte or shimmer? I like matte bronzers best for contouring, and shimmery bronzers for blush & all over shimmer.
What is your favorite bronzer for each type?
Shimmer - Mac Golden Lariat Mineralize Skinfinish
Matte - NYC Smooth Bronzer in Sunny
Which type of blush do you prefer: cream, powder, or liquid? I definitely prefer the look of cream blush, but I like the application of powder blush better. Unfortunately I have dry skin, so if I use a powder blush that’s too chalky, I look like a cake-face!
What is your favorite blush for each type?
Powder - Mac’s Mineralize Blush in “Happy Toegther”
Cream - NYX Cream blush in color 02 “Natural”
Liquid - Benefit’s Benetint
What do you look for in a mascara? Which one is your favourite? I actually look for kind of weird properties in my mascara - I like it to look like I have LOTS of small delicate lashes, as suppose to less but thicker lashes. My two favourite mascara’s are Benefit’s Bad Gal Lash and Covergirl Lash Blast
